Alabama Legacy Run 2026

American  Legion Riders across  the state of Alabama  will  be gathering for the Alabama Legacy Run May 15th – 16th.  This  fundraising  event  is  held  to support  the American Legion Veterans and Children’s Foundation.  Since its creation in 1925, The American Legion Veterans & Children Foundation has delivered over $30 million in financial assistance for disabled  veterans, military  families  and  young  people  who  lost  parents  in service  to our nation. All proceeds gathered during this run will be presented to the American Legion National Commander at  the American Legion National Convention in Louisville, Kentucky from August 28th – September 3rd, 2026.

American Legion Riders of Alabama will have two starting points on the 15th .  One will be riding from (North) Post# 237 in Huntsville, AL also Post#17 Talladega, AL  and will travel to Post# 255 in Fultondale, Alabama and the other route will be from Post# 199 in Fairhope, AL and will also travel to Post# 255.  On the 16th all riders in attendance will go for an escorted ride and then back to Post#255 for a last evening get together.

American Legion Riders (Department Event)

This form is for the American Legion Riders 2026 Legacy Run. By completing this form, you grant us permission to include your name in the pre-registration count, which helps us determine participation for the ride. North Route: The ride will begin at Post #17 or Post#237. Those starting at Post #17 in Talladega will ride to post #237 and join together and conclude at Post #255 in Fultondale, Alabama. South Route: The ride will start at Post #99 in Foley and finish at Post #255 in Fultondale, Alabama. ​Check with each post for exact route details.
